It will show you how to recognise signs of tension inyour body and therefore help you to release tension and achieve amore calm and relaxed manner.In this Preparing for Birth App are pages of text: They includeinformation on how the birth partner can help you at this specialtime, how to breathe through a contraction, relaxation, and otheruseful advice for when you are on your journey to meet yourbaby.The videos in the Preparing for Birth App show positions forbirth, stroking and massage techniques along with a very successfulbreathing technique for the pregnant lady. They are shown in shortsequences and the instructions and demonstrations are easy tofollow. Precautions are mentioned for pregnant ladies who sufferfrom pelvic girdle pain.There is a clip on laughter in the Preparing for Birth App andyou may be curious as to why laughter should be included. Thereason for including this is because many people believe laughteris beneficial for us and releases tension - and relieving tensioncan only be good for you. Enjoy.Anna is a qualified British Wheel of Yoga teacher whospecialises in pregnancy yoga, which she has been teaching for oversix years. This App has been adapted from the twopreviousapps Yoga For Pregnancy and Preparing for Birth especiallyforladies who don’t envisage themselves using yoga duringtheirpregnancy.Connecting To BabyThis is a short relaxation allowing you the time to connectwithyour baby. Taking a few minutes with your baby can bebeneficialfor you both.Breathing through a contractionBreathing through a contraction demonstrates thebreathingtechnique that we learn in class. This breath has beenverysuccessful for lots of the ladies who come to the classes. Theysayit is really does help them focus on the breath and remaincalmthrough each contraction. The chapter also shows a sighingbreath,which is fabulous to release any tension that may havebeenacquired during the contraction.Cloud relaxationThis relaxation helps you relax your whole body andthenencourages you to imagine you are lying on a cloud andfloatingthrough the air. Floating is very relaxing and whilst yourmind isfloating, it means it is not so easy for adrenaline to comeintoyour body. Enjoy.LaughterWhen all else fails, it is a good idea to simply laugh.Laughingreleases tension and therefore is really beneficial. This Pregnancy App has been created for ladieswho have never practised yoga before they were pregnant as well asfor ladies who are experienced yogis. It shows postures that helpkeep you active during your pregnancy. It includes breathingtechniques to help you relax while you're pregnant and for when youare on your special journey to meet your baby. Using this App meansyou are taking time for you and time to connect to your babythrough your pregnancy.Practising yoga during pregnancy can be highly beneficial foryou and your baby. Yoga helps build strength and encouragesrelaxation. The pregnancy postures help you adapt to the changes inyour body that occur during pregnancy and the breathing andrelaxation techniques enable you to relax more easily.The exercises are shown in short sequences and the instructionsand demonstrations are easy to follow. The chapters mentionadaptations for ladies who suffer from pelvic girdle pain,heartburn and carpel tunnel syndrome where appropriate.It features two relaxations often useful after a long day atwork:A short one, which encourages making time to connect tobaby.A longer one, which is a complete relaxation using thevisualisation of floating on a cloud.
